Born in the charming streets of Stanmore, Bistro 101 is a local restaurant whose soul was forged in the sun-drenched heart of Greece and refined in Europe’s most prestigious kitchens.
Our story – from Michelin kitchens to Stanmore Hill
Chef Stelian Scripcariu arrived in London and worked his way through some of the city’s finest kitchens and most prestigious dining rooms, including Michelin-starred restaurants such as the Dorchester and a stint with Gordon Ramsay. He furthered his craft in France, undertaking an internship at one of Bernard Loiseau’s most acclaimed restaurants.

Along the way, Stelian teamed up with Maria, who matched his passion for hospitality.
Together, we have spent years working in various establishments. And we have been making each one a success through our shared dedication to fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients and outstanding service.
